Default GOLF: Where do I begin?

Greetings to all Golfers (amateur or professional),

First of all, I'm not a golfer, not even an audience of a tournament or leisure golf--live or on TV. But since my husband is interested in playing Golf two years ago, I have this love and hate relationship with this sport.

I love it because this kind of sport is by 'nature' sits on the highest class of sports and very exclusive. I noticed that by just saying: I'm going to play GOLF this weekend", will give an instant boost of confident--this is good. It's true, I can see it from the way my husband says it

I hate this kind of sport, why? Because it's very complicated. The terms: Putt, Holes, Clubs, though only contain of 1 syllable, are very intimidating. And then there are these terms: Drive, Driving range, Birdie, Hole in ONE.

I love and hate this sport at the same time, but then I feel tempted to try. My husband is going to take me to the Driving Range this weekend.

Only I don't know what to expect?

Regards,
Juwi.

Ma'am golf is all about giving yourself the absolute best opportunities to make shots onto the green. This is done by keeping the ball on the fairway, which means that accuracy should be one of the focal points of your game.
You can increase your accuracy when playing golf by keeping in mind the following points:
Fist! No matter where your ball is, you should always be aiming for a target. Developing accuracy and playing with a strategic mindset means choosing a target to shoot at, even if you cannot see the hole.
By choosing a small target, such as an object or a location on the fairway, visualize the ball heading in that exact direction. This technique has been proven to help thousands of golfers to hit more accurate shots in line with their target.
And second just because you are hitting the ball from the tee, that does not mean that the driver should be used each and every time. Yes, the driver will hit the ball the farthest, but it also has the least accuracy of every club in your bag. You may be facing a shot with a narrow fairway, or perhaps risking advanced hazards on each side of the fairway. Either way, your driver may not be the best choice. Instead, consider using your woods, preferably a 3-wood or the 5-wood. You could even use an iron when hitting the ball from the tee it deemed necessary.

Oh and remember ma'am....learn to take your ego out of the game when necessary. Always take the safe shot if you are unsure of what strategy to use. Trying to be the golf hero of the day may ruin your score. Have the mindset to simply keep the ball on the green and finish the job with your putter.

Di situ lah letak fun nya. Mungkin suatu saat nanti kita akan mentertawakan diri kita sendiri karena mistake yg kita buat.

Saya sering ber offroad ria.

Ps : Kalo mau maen golep, bawa perlengkapan scuba diving aja, supaya kalo bola nyemplung ke kolam, kita bisa sekalian berolah raga nyelem ................ he..he..he.. (just kidding ....................)

hahaha... I like your sense of humour

Mungkin aku bisa memulai dengan membaca teori2 tentang Golf ya, supaya mengerti term: Hole in One, Club, Birdie, Putter, dll.

Kalo ada pembaca yang bisa sumbang saran, silakan..
